Ew, Mondays.

Today was a really odd day.

I'm freaking out because I hope I get at least an A- in math. I did really bad on the test because I was confused about something. I"m still panicking. The quarter ends on Friday. I feel like bawling.

During 5th period, we did some high school stuff. I guess I'm going to do drama after school.

During 6th period, I watched Star Wars with Mr. Haywood's class. He told me to watch it because I never watched Star Wars. It was the classes's job to write notes, but since I was the TA I just got to watch.

I took an hour of vocals today. I improved... A LOT. I am so happy :)

Time to watch Dancing with the Stars.... so adiós :)

Partay!

Today we celebrated Maya's party at the Sky High trampoline place. Maya, Ha-Yoon, Juli, and Reagan are so good at flips and stuff. I fail. :(

On the bright side, I got my bridge!

When we took a break, Maya's mom got us root beer crystal candy and drinks.

After that, we went to The Spaghetti Factory the meat lover's plate. It was really yummy. Maya's cake had Robert Pattinson and her face on it. Bleh, Robert Pattinson.

On the car ride home, we listened to Maya and my Ipod. When we made it back, we took pictures and just messed around.

Afterwards, Madi, Ha-yoon, and I went to Madi's house real quick for her to get a list. Her dog, Cosmo, is adorable! :)

Then we went to Joann's and we got white hats for the musical and Madi got things for Homesteaders. Then we went to Borders and I bought Ha-yoon a journal because I owe her and I got a Ouran High School Host Club manga and a Glee bookmark. We walked to the mall and got pictures from the photo booth and walked around. I bought a shirt from American Eagle :)!

Then I got home and watched the kid's choice awards thing. The jokes were really lame.

March 25

I woke up late. I went to school at like 8:30. Crap.

When I walked to Mr. Allard's class, I walked in on the retake. So i just took it.

In Mrs. Saiz's class, nothing really exciting happened.

In Mr. Haywood's class, we worked more on CBA. Then he scared me while handing out Altoids because I didn't offer him one yet. Then, he ranted about why I should have offered him one and how he didn't want one anymore because I hurt his feelings. It was hilarious!

I got home and practiced vocals. I also made hot pockets and at cookie n' cream pie from Fred Meyers. Then watched Ellen and Jackie Chan was on it :)

I don't like our new hip hop routine :(

I felt really awkward when we did freestyle! I can't freestyle. :(

March 26

Our choir musical is going to suck. No one knows the songs and we're really bad. :(

For TA stuff, I didn't have anything to do. I just talked to Gospel, Soren, and Spencer the whole time. Gospel made me fall out of my chair. They were saying really weird stuff. It was hilarious. Mr. Haywood did the announcements and it was really funny because it sounded really unenthusiastic. I kept eating mini M&Ms during class :)

I watched Desperate Housewives for hours... Season 6 Episode 11 was really touching. It almost made me cry... :(

Conferences

Today is my conference day. I learned that Mr. Haywood is a lot taller than my dad. It was kinda funny. My dad kept saying these really weird jokes... it was weird. Not just weird, really weird. Andy said Mr. Haywood should change his last name because it reminds him of hay and wood... My dad was shocked to learn Mr. Haywood was that young. Aha. The conference only took like 5 minutes and I went to the book fair and got Coffeehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors. I like it so far :)

After that, we went to Andy's conference. I met up with Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. G. Everything is so different. The classes look so tiny now, I remember thinking how big the class was. The chairs and desks are so tiny.

Freshman fair was fun. I got to talk to teachers and a bunch of high school seniors. I learned a lot about high school and it made me think about my future. Aha, weird right? I talked to Mr. Heywood and he said I could do theatre and chamber choir! :D

Well, I couldn't post this yesterday so this will be a double update!

March 22

Today is just a fantastic day :) Also, Happy Birthday to Tracy.

It's sunny!

In 3rd period, Mr. Haywood said he'd tell my dad that I didn't offer my teacher, who gave me an A, an Altoid at my conference. It was so funny. John had those whippy erase things and Maya hit me with one and it hurt really really bad. So I hit her back. She said there was a huge red mark...

In 4th period, Ian found out I gave Tracy a birthday present (candy bar) and he kept saying I liked him. It was annoying. I only like him as my friend! Then during lunch people said I liked Riley. (Which I don't, only as a friend)

In 5th period, which is choir.... We had to rehearse our musical and no one knew the dance routine... It was embarrassing. At the end of the class... I found out I made Chamber Choir!!!

I didn't expect it at all! I was so shocked and happy. When I got home i started screaming and cheering. Aha.

For my TA work, I did a bunch of errands. It was really funny because I was like, "Mr. Haywood, I see you every day this week aren't you so happy because I'm just awesome like that?" He gave me this weird look and was like, " Are you that worried about your grades?" In a joking voice. I collected infraction slips and the beginning band drummers made me go deaf. They were being really obnoxious and rude.

Dancing with the Stars is so different looking and I love the new effects. The cast this season is really good! Mark and Sharon were pretty good in my opinion. It was really touching that Sharon was dancing for her dad. Derek and Nicole were so good! It was their first time and they got a 25. Of course, Derek is always good :) The guy from the bachelor is cuteeee. Watching Pamela Anderson dance made me want to pound my head against a wall. Carrie Ann and Bruno were hilarious when mocking Pamela Anderson.

I watched part of Castle after DWTS since it was the show right after. My parents just realized I watched Castle and they were like this is good! I was like, "I've been watching this show for almost a year... One of my favorite shows... remember?"

March 23

I watched the rest of Castle today and I LOVE IT. Stana Katic is such an amazing actress and she's so pretty. Nathan Fillion is just plain hilarious.

Went to piano lessons as usual. We sold our old TV to this hilarious nice couple. They said they were buying it for their disabled kid. They were really really nice and funny.

Well, today I woke up with a headache and an extremely painful throat. Oh what fun :/

Today I went to celebrate Grandma's birthday at the Nhan's house. (Mom's mom) Cindy was watching New Moon on dvd and I walked into the room. I saw Edward Cullen and I died a little on the inside. He burned my retinas in a bad way. Of course, not literally. It felt like it though.

Trevor was being a jerk and rude so when he fell asleep, Eric drew on his face with marker. It was pretty darn hilarious.

I learned that Simon is gonna be those people that take x-ray pictures. I think that's pretty cool :)

We were talking about movies and I said one of the only reasons why I wanted to watch Bounty Hunter was because of Gerard Butler. Simon said he knew that the first time he saw the trailer with him in it. Lol. I think he's such a good actor. His acting is really.... not so good in the movie though.

It was a pretty dull day though.

Happy Birthday Madi!

March 19th, the day Madi was born. Aha.

This morning I brought my presents for Madi and Maya since Madi's birthday is today and Maya's is tomorrow.

I was driving in front of Madi on the way to school so we walked in together. Turns out the fire drill was before school! It was really awkward because everyone was already in line and Madi and I were walking to the field.

I got Maya the Glee volume 1 soundtrack and Madi the Across the Universe Sountrack with Jim Sturgess (her favorite!Madi and Maya like my present so that's a good thing! :)Patty made them cakes and everyone got to eat part of it. It's so good!

In algebra, Maya,Juli, and Mrs. Jones about Twilight...I thought I was gonna die. I wanted ear plugs so badly. Aha.

In 6th period, most of the class went outside because it was such a nice day. I got to stay inside and Austin stayed inside too. Gospel came in tardy and he kept bugging me. He kept asking, "Lina, are you hot?" Bleh. I asked Mr. Haywood why he thought The Crazies was bad. He said it was boring. I was talking to Austin about Zombieland earlier and I said I thought it was dumb after 10 minutes. He told Haywood and Spencer that and they basically thought I was crazy. So now I'm supposed to watch the whole thing during the weekends. It better be good...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today during opportunities, we had to practice our student lead conferences. It was really weird because we have to pretend to be each other's parents... I was Reagan's mommy! Aha, it was weird.

Mr. Haywood didn't wear green today so someone asked if they could pinch him. He said that no one is allowed to touch him and Jimmy asked, "what about your daughter?" Mr. Haywood said that she has to stay a foot away from him and that he has a stick to poke her with if he needs to touch her. Then Jimmy asked, "what about your wife?" There was an awkward silence because everyone, well almost everyone, knew that he was not married. Then Mr. Haywood laughed saying, " who says I have a wife?"

Yeah, weird...

I'm almost all caught up on Desperate Housewives! :) I kinda want to watch the beginning though since I started watching during the 4th season. The 100th episode was such a good episode. It really makes you think about life and how you could lost someone that helped you in so many ways you don't even think about.

Anyways, I actually caught up with my Castle! :) I didn't watch all of the beginning episodes either. :/ I think I saw part of the pilot when it first came out... but I never really watched it until the second season. Stana Katic is such a great actress and Nathan Fillion is so amazing at acting!

Orianthi was on American Idol today and her guitar skills are amazing! Even Dad was like woah! No wonder she's called a guitar "prodigy."

Oh yeah! I decided to grow my hair out yesterday after seeing Katie Steven's hair on American Idol. Her hair yesterday was gorgeous and I decided I wanted to be able to curl my hair like that. So yups.

Back to School!

Oh gosh, I kept waking up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. Guess how my morning was? T-I-R-I-N-G.

I felt so much better yesterday so I decided I should go back to school. I actually missed school. Weird huh? It's weird not seeing my buddies and all the teachers.

Nothing exciting really happened today. We mostly worked on our portfolios for student lead conferences. Bleh, the conferences are gonna be so weird. Mr.Haywood is "supervising/assisting" my conference since he's my opportunities teacher. The teachers made this video of what not to do and what to do during these conferences. I have to admit, the video made me laugh.

In 6th period, I graded papers for Mr. Haywood since I'm his T.A. His class was the mythology class and their topic today was monsters. Weirdly, I learned that there are many "different" vampire stories. I also heard of very bone chilling stories that will probably give me nightmares, aha.

After school, I watched Desperate Housewives like I usually do... but it was HILARIOUS. The acting is just superb and I love the show.

In piano, Kelly and I worked on our recital songs. Hopefully, I don't get too nervous during my recital... AGAIN. I got two months so I don't need to panic...yet.

Overall, it's been a pretty good day but it could've been better.

At home on a school day

I'm still sick so I stayed at home today. I'm feeling so much better though! I had the Banquet microwave dinner stuff for lunch because I can't cook for my life.

Madi told me that SNL was hilarious on Friday so I just had to watch it today since I forgot about it on Saturday. Jude Law is hilarious. I'm such a huge fan after Sherlock Holmes. He's an incredible actor. I'm sad to say that the SNL writers are starting to lack creativity. Hopefully, they can prove me wrong :)

The Broadview and Prius skit cracked me up so much. I really liked the parody of the Twilight Zone episode :).

Karina is growing so fast! She's the size of a teddy bear when she's sitting :)

She barely fits in her car seat now!

Also, Dancing with the Stars is back next week! :)

Anyways, I'm still really really sick. I feel like throwing up. Bleh.

I won't be going to school tomorrow so I had to finish all my homework so my dad could drop it off at school. (Yearbook application was due Friday, but I was gone that day...)

Also, I started watching the Chinese series "D.I.E. Again". It's pretty hilarious.

March 13th. A Saturday.

I woke up with a painfully sore throat and headache. Just fantastic! :P

Will probably will have to miss vocals on Monday... So sad! :(

For the whole day, I basically just babysat Karina and watched America's Best Dance Crew. Later on though, I went to Fred Meyers, Costco, and Borders.

At Borders, I bought Madi and Maya's birthday presents which I won't reveal until Friday because I know they'll read this.

Mommy's cooked pho for the relatives on her side of the family so I'm at the Nhan household...(My relatives share a house).

I was talking to Juli, Madi, Kyle G., and Phong today... It was interesting... lol.

ANYWAYS, I went to Rite Aid with Uncle Victor to get gift bags for Madi and Maya in my PJs. I really hope they like my present :). Maya, Madi if you read this it shows my dedication to you guys as your friend, lol. I went to Rite Aid in my PJs.

My cold/flu keeps getting worse! :(

A courting we shall go!

Today, Maya, Juli, Madi, Reagan, Patty, and I decided to be bad and skip school! Aha, just kidding :) We went on an extra credit field trip to a court house with Maya's dad as our chaperone.

We went to a domestic violence calendar. To be honest, it was pretty boring. Some of the cases were interesting though. Apparently, this one lady bit her ex boyfriend and she was like "I don't recall doing that." It was pretty hilarious. The comissioner was really nice and professional. She was amazing at her job. The baliff person was pretty nice too. It was a really good experience actually.

After sitting there for about 3-4 hours, we went to Subway! It was my second time going to Subway. My first time was a LONG time ago. According to my buddies, I'm "deprived." I didn't even get a sandwich. (lol!) I got pizza. It was actually amazingly good pizza! They had free mints and Reagan grabbed like a handful. LOL

When we were done, we went to Maya's house after dropping Juli off at her house so she could go to dance later on. Maya's soooooo lucky! She has a grand piano. That lucky ducky.

After that, we went to the capital campus. I've never been there so it was really cool! We took a lot of pictures.

When Reagan and Patty left, Madi and Maya went on my facebook and messed with my account. It was pretty hilarious. Then we watched videos. We watched that one Harry Potter Puppet video that everyone just loves. :)

Woah, I never thought I'd have a blog. Weird.

Somehow, Madi made me really want a blog. No, I'm not influenced very easily, but it looked like fun! So many things have happened this year. I have to admit, middle school used to be miserable. I've had my ups and downs this year, but in the end I know I'll always have the support of my friends and family. I got a new sister in December 2009 and she's just amazing. :)

She's so talkative for a 3 month old baby!

My favorite movie of the year is Sherlock Holmes! My new favorite musicals are POTO, Grease, and Smile! The picture above was in 2009 when Ha-Yoon, Madi, Juli, Maya, and I went to watch Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat :) This was in front of Rock Bottom. Anthony Federov was Joesph in the musical! :D
