Another Snow Day! :)

So today I got to hang out with my homies. :) I met up with Davis at the school and then we waited for everyone else to come. Madi was waiting in her car on the driveway with her mom when I was walking back home to meet her. I scared her by standing right outside her car door window and it was hilarious. I love you, Madi! Then Kyliekins arrived! Madi, Davis, Kyle, and I went to the little fenced pond area at school and the pond was all frozen! I really wanted to walk on it...But then I was scared I would fall and die. Then Juli came and we decided to walk to Ethan's house since he couldn't come! But then on our way, Ha-Yoon arrived so we walked back and decided to just head back to the school. We all went back to the school and had an adventure! Kyle and I ran and he slipped... Haha. He then kept trying to trip me... Everyone kept getting into constant snowball fights. When we decided to go back, Maya finally arrived. :) We hung out at my house most of the time after that watching T.V., hanging out, baking cake mix cookies, surfing the web, playing instruments, and etc. It was fun. :) What a great way to spend a snow day! I don't really have any pictures, but Maya did take this one picture of Davis and Karina and I think it's plain adorable. :)

Snow! In late February! Wait what? GLOBAL WARMING... But it's snow so it makes up for it in my opinion. It's so amazingly pretty outside! Everyone's going over to Madi's and I want to go so bad, but Dad won't let me! :( I walked around the neighborhood with Karina, but she doesn't like the snow! She totally freaked out when I try to let her walk on the snow. She was also too scared to touch it... Oh well... I spent the morning watching T.V. Watching Mickey House Clubhouse with my sister is always fun. :) OH YEAH, I can be a 4.0 student again because you can choose whether to have your algebra grade count as part of your GPA or not. :)

So afterwards, I met up with Davis at BHHS. It was quite lovely! We walked and wandered around. Snow makes everything better. I really enjoyed spending time with him. :)

I really, really want Kina Grannis's redone album... I loveeeee her! I also love her new song "The One You Say Goodnight To". I can't stop listening to it! She's such a good songwriter and singer. I'm envious.

Four day break is ending!

On Saturday, the family went to Andy's indoor soccer game at Reeves. They lost, but it was entertaining to watch. Nothing exciting really happened on Saturday actually... On Sunday, I finished my power point on Aphrodite which took FOREVER.

Then yesterday, I went to Portland! Yay! We ate at Ocean City for lunch and it was dim sum! =]

My parents bought me 4 plates of noodle fried shrimp! MY FAVORITE DIM SUM THING EVER. Well, along with pepper tofu and calamari. Here's Karina during lunch. :)

Then we went shopping at Clackamas Town Center and I got a new pea coat, an owl necklace, and a flower headband. :)

Then we went out to dinner at Ocean City again because they serve different things for dinner. They make the cutest pepper tofu ever. They're mini! They were yummmyyyy.

Today, I finished reading My Forbidden Face, which is such an incredible story. Then I went off to clean my room and I am quite proud of the work I did. I'm thinking about decorating my room again since it's so plain, but as usual I'll probably be too lazy to or want to save up my money. Afterwards, I finished my business card assignment for Hummel and finished reading book 11 of The Odyssey. Some insurance guy came to check out our house and was in the backyard. Andy had no idea though so he saw the guy and he started freaking out. It was hilarious! I actually had time to watch and play with Karina today and it was fun. I love my sissy! :) In the picture, we were watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while eating lunch. That's what I look like in the morning...

Oh yeah, I was cleaning out my room and I found CDs with pictures files from like forever ago. I found these professional photos from 4th grade!

End of the school week! Hooray!

Well, I'm exhausted as usual on a Friday night. I feel so tired and don't want to move at all. I didn't mention this on the last post, but on Monday the PE/Health class started its health unit on sex education. Freshmen and their immature minds... There have been so many sex jokes going around, but the good thing is that they're actually funny. At the same time though the jokes gross me out. Mrs. Summers makes the class hilarious though. Some of the things we learn in sex ed is so unnecessary though... For example, we learned what could affect the taste of sperm. GROSS. Anyways, I've been so behind in The Odyssey that it's depressing. I never procrastinate so I've never been behind! It was seriously stressing me out! It's because annotating takes forever and I'm too lazy to read through it first and then annotate. On the bright side, even though I don't actually read it before I take the quizzes I actually pass them and get the highest scores on them...On Tuesday, the 8th grade choir from the middle school came to listen to us sing and we were supposed to pick and vote those we thought would be a good addition to the choir. GOODNESS GRACIOUS, some of the kids were OBNOXIOUS. They pretty much ruined my day with their annoying-ness. On the A.C.T. day, Davis and I watched the last SNL so that was fun. :) I spent most of yesterday studying for the bajillion tests and quizzes that I had today. I stayed up till around midnight and I actually dozed off reading... I was annotating and reading The Odyssey so I have pen marks on my bed... Today, I worked more on Pur Dicesti O Bocca Bocca Bella for Solo Ensemble... I am so nervous for Solo Ensemble that you have no idea. Everyone's probably sick of me complaining and freaking out about it. But oh well. Oh yeah, I'm in charge of organizing how to raise money for nets to send to Africa to help them prevent malaria. It's so exciting! I love being secretary. I've had a pretty good day regardless of tests and quizzes today. Also, I LOVE our choir songs. Especially Yo Le Canto and Crows and Clusters. I love Kyle's piano playing on both songs... His playing on Crows and Clusters always makes me crack up. Of course if you're not in choir you wouldn't understand! YOU LOSER. Hahaha, just kidding! :3

It's been a month, blogger...

This past month, I've learned that finals suck. I can't get a 4.0 because of algebra in Jone's class last year. One A-....Homework stinks. Having lots of stress is horrible. Annoying people bug the crap out of me. Being sick SUCKS. Singing in front of others is terrifying. The Odyssey gives me a headache. Solo ensemble is next week and I'm shaking just thinking about it...

On the bright side, Val- O- Grams are amazingly fun. I've made many new friends in choir. :) I also have a 4.0 this semester. I've sadly learned that I can get a higher grade on quizzes that most kids in Hummel's class without even reading all of the assigned parts... Not that I'm going to not read the assigned parts anymore... Davis liked my gift and didn't throw it out of the window so that was good :).

Oh yeah! Last friday was Alex's birthday and we played pictionary! Matt was on my team and I had to draw without looking...

I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS UNTIL JONNY REMINDED ME. So we decided to go sing to Jonny since he's Brittney's neighbor, but he was in the shower... So we went into his home and sang to the (closed, just clarifying) door. :)
