Happy Birthday to my bro Andy :)!

Last week has been SO stressful. Luckily, all that stressing out is mostly over. It was a stressful week but it was filled with fun :).

On Wednesday, we had an intruder drill during 5th period... Lauren decided to be my savior and carry me into the art pod! haha :) Oh Lauren. I love her.

After school on Friday, Ha-Yoon, Juli, Madi, and Maya came over to my house before going to watch Once Upon a Mattress. It was fun! Did each others hair, hung, and etc. We all ate wonton type noodles with tofu and pork. I made them all eat with chopsticks. hahaha Juli struggled so much with it that it was hilarious :).

The musical! When we got there I bought Davis a flower and gave the rest of the cast cookies. There was a lot more cookies but people kept eating them before we got there...-cough cough- Then Reagan arrived! Yippee. Just like old times! The musical was enjoyable :). I've never heard Lauren sing before but her voice... it's AMAZING. Liza was brilliant as the queen. Brennan as the Mute King made me laugh hysterically with Juli. Emma was the Nightingale and also made me laugh :). Juli and I kept laughing when other people weren't and it was pretty... interesting. We're just cool like that. We even head banged to the overture.

Yesterday, we celebrated Andy's birthday with the relatives. It was pretty fun. The little kids had toy whistles which I got really annoying... I ended up ripping them out of their mouths. :3

OH YEAH! In ballroom, Natasha told me about a workshop in Seattle with BUDDY SCHWIMMER. LACEY AND BENJI'S DAD! That's so cool. I'm so extremely excited!

Well, January 23rd... My brother's 10! It's so weird seeing him at a 10 year old in 4th grade... I can remember myself when I was in 4th grade. Oh, time goes by so quickly.

Also, this is a video Natasha showed me of Benji Schwimmer and I think it's amazing! I love it.

3 Day Weekend!

On Saturday, I went to ballroom as usual which is always fun. Then afterwards, Daddio and I went guitar shopping! We didn't get one but we had fun browsing. Aha. I discovered that Daddy is actually super duper amazing at guitar even though he's rusty since he hasn't played in years. I never knew Daddy was that good! Afterwards, I went to Ashley's birthday party at West Side Lanes! It was so fun! :) Ashley like Davis's and my gift so that was good.

Yesterday, I started on Davis's Valentine's Day gift! :)

Today, Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Karina, Andy, and I went to Seattle. We ate dim sum, bought food, went places, and etc. I'm almost done with Davis's gift and I'm so excited! I found out Matt's birthday was yesterday! I don't really get why he refuses to tell people... I am so ridiculously behind in homework... I need to do it all tonight! Yikes.

Friday! Yippee!

This week has been pretty whack. I got horribly sick and had to skip school Tuesday and Wednesday. I lost my voice! :( It's coming back but it's still icky sounding. These two days happened to be the days where we had a test or quiz in like every class...I came back to school yesterday but I actually did not read to the chapter we were supposed to read to in To Kill a Mockingbird because I was actually sick and I had a lot of other homework to do... I was hoping that Hummel wouldn't give us a pop quiz and guess what? POP QUIZ! Luckily I was able to answer most of the questions... I got a 15/20 and the class average was apparently 11/20... hmm... That is saying something there. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Maya and Davis made it a competition to see who could hug me first after school... haha. Hmmm... What else...? Oh hey, today was the most fun I've ever had in biology... We went to the library because the computer labs were busy and I didn't really have to do anything and it was also during second lunch so Maya, Juli, Madi, Ha-Yoon, Matt, and Kyle came to talk to me! :) Nothing exciting happened but it was the best time I've had in biology because biology is miserable. Also, ever since the Spanish classes got to watch the first and second semester of Spanish love songs... I've been called Phanny Pantalones...

The day I came back to school also happened to be the day that Tracy was at home sick... He has the same symptoms as me and everything from when I was sick. Everyone was so shocked he was absent because he's never absent! I just ruined his perfect attendance. hahaha. I feel bad thought because I was REALLY sick... Oh well.

Also, I've discovered some pretty amazing bands. Death Cab For Cutie, Boyce Avenue, and Plain White T's. Well I've heard of Death Cab For Cutie but I've never actually listened to them. I knew a few of the Plain White T's songs before and I really liked them but I never looked into them until now... :) Boyce Avenue's covers are really good and I've discovered them through David Choi and Kina Grannis! Oh youtubers.

Updates!

Hmmm, I guess I'll start with New Year's eve. Dad, Uncle Hai, and I went to Portland to celebrate Aunt Tien's mom's birthday. It was pretty fun :)! Aunt Tien got me a late birthday and Christmas present and I loveeee it!. It was a coat and a cardigan from Nordstrom. I have to return them though because they don't fit...She thinks I'm an extra small... :3 We celebrated at some Chinese restaurant. I thought a barely related relative was Uncle Hai from behind so I started pushing, shoving, and hitting him because Uncle Hai and I are just cool like that... The guy turned around and was like terrified... That was very embarrassing. The table next to us were being really loud and obnoxious so when they laughed really loud, I decided to laugh even louder than they did and they stared at me. That's how Lina rolls. On the way home, there was this house COMPLETELY on fire... It was scary.

Juli, Maya, Madi, and Reagan dedicated a video to me at the New Year party I couldn't go to... haha I love them! The words are all backwards though. :3



So today was the first day of school after winter break! In Hummel's we just had SSR... Thank goodness she didn't give us a quiz or test because I would've smacked her silly. During Pack time, Alex and I discussed life and Adam's apples and it was hilarious. In P.E., we jogged for 12 minutes and that was pretty much it. Lunch was pretty interesting... Davis and I hung out and were joined by Ian. We then proceeded to the library to play BS and it was entertaining. Biology! We finished Lorenzo's Oil and I don't even know whether I feel happy or sad about the movie... In chamber choir, I talked to Kyle, Matt, Ethan, and Lauren so it was fun. In math, we got slips of paper with math terms and vocabulary. We had to divide ourselves into categories with those slips and somehow Ha-Yoon, Sean, and Trent were in a group but they were missing someone so everyone was like "Lina you should be in that group!" because they were all the Asian people in that class besides me. It was HILARIOUS. It's a you had to be there moment though. Oh yeah, I just remembered the missing person was Matt! xD

After school, I spend a little time in the P.A.C. I walked there with Kyle and I showed him the song I'm doing for Solo and Ensemble and he died laughing... Yeah, the lyrics are pretty darn amazing. So anyways, everyone asked about Davis and me so it was pretty interesting... Ashley basically attacked us with her phone to take pictures. Apparently Kindra decided to blurt out in Acting Company that Davis and I were together... Haha how lovely. All in all, I've had quite the lovely day. :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention weeks ago that before a Twelfth Night show, Davis and Emma forced me to watch A Very Potter Musical and I absolutely love it. I've watched the sequel too :).
