Anyone Can Whistle!

Well, except me. My first musical in high school has been great. I've bonded and met so many people. It was truly a great experience and would be the highlight of my day especially with how life has been. Thank you to everyone who came to support! Special thanks to Mackenzie's relative for letting me steal show photos. Photos are annoyingly out of order and I'm too busy watching The Voice... So here you go!

Love is in the air!

So much love going around these days. It makes me feel like a loner, but I'm so excited. So happy for my friends! I also heard St. Clair is engaged. Congrats to St. Clair! :)
There's been a crazy amount of snow. My dad measured it and it was 17 inches! I've feeling full of anxiety lately. It's incredibly difficult to relax and I'm always worrying. This sucks. I literally always worry about school or whatever even when there's nothing to worry about. As I'm writing this, I'm feeling sick in my stomach and worrying... Musical rehearsal has been going a lot better! We were supposed to open this week, but school has been canceled the last two days so... Also, I am absolutely in love with Ellie Goulding. I listen to her album nonstop.

Last week has been SO stressful. Luckily, all that stressing out is mostly over. It was a stressful week but it was filled with fun :).

On Wednesday, we had an intruder drill during 5th period... Lauren decided to be my savior and carry me into the art pod! haha :) Oh Lauren. I love her.

After school on Friday, Ha-Yoon, Juli, Madi, and Maya came over to my house before going to watch Once Upon a Mattress. It was fun! Did each others hair, hung, and etc. We all ate wonton type noodles with tofu and pork. I made them all eat with chopsticks. hahaha Juli struggled so much with it that it was hilarious :).

The musical! When we got there I bought Davis a flower and gave the rest of the cast cookies. There was a lot more cookies but people kept eating them before we got there...-cough cough- Then Reagan arrived! Yippee. Just like old times! The musical was enjoyable :). I've never heard Lauren sing before but her voice... it's AMAZING. Liza was brilliant as the queen. Brennan as the Mute King made me laugh hysterically with Juli. Emma was the Nightingale and also made me laugh :). Juli and I kept laughing when other people weren't and it was pretty... interesting. We're just cool like that. We even head banged to the overture.

Yesterday, we celebrated Andy's birthday with the relatives. It was pretty fun. The little kids had toy whistles which I got really annoying... I ended up ripping them out of their mouths. :3

OH YEAH! In ballroom, Natasha told me about a workshop in Seattle with BUDDY SCHWIMMER. LACEY AND BENJI'S DAD! That's so cool. I'm so extremely excited!

Well, January 23rd... My brother's 10! It's so weird seeing him at a 10 year old in 4th grade... I can remember myself when I was in 4th grade. Oh, time goes by so quickly.

West Side Story!

Oh my goodness. I watched West Side Story today and I LOVE IT! It made me laugh, it made, me cry, and it's just a beautiful musical! My only problem with musicals is that it's so long! I'm just really fidgety. haha. The ending was so sad. :(! I don't think I could ever watch Romeo and Juliet without crying.

Summer is ruining my health. I can't sleep early and I don't do anything. :/ I didn't sleep till like 4 in the morning... Bad Lina!

Honk the musical.

On Thursday and Saturday we performed Honk! Jr. It was so fun and exciting. The Saturday performance drove me insane though because lots of people were missing. I've never done a musical before and I learned that it's one of the best feelings in the world to successfully finish one! I hope I'm in musicals in high school... It's so nerve wracking though, but the nerves go away and it's just amazing.

Yesterday:

6th period was game day so we went Mrs. Field's class and played Egyptian Rat Screw. It was the first time I lost. :( Darn it, Ha-yoon ruined my winning streak. D:!

I kicked off my spring break with Castle, Desperate Housewives, and popcorn.

Today!

In the morning, I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Squeakqual. I like it :)

Stage make up is weird. I hate and like it at the same time :)

Our rehearsal was okay. Lots of mistakes. Some people were just plain making me mad because of their attitude and telling me what to do. Well, I knew what to do and the people who told me what to do weren't very reliable. Just really persistently annoying.

After, I went to Steven's birthday party. My other cousin, Simon, smeared frosting on my face. I got him back :) I like slapped it back on his face. AHA!
