Weekend trip to Lincoln City

Over the weekend (August 3 & 4), the family went with Mom's side of the family to Lincoln City! It was surprisingly very pleasant. You'd think that with over 25 people, conflict was bound to happen. But it didn't! We started the day off with going to the Siletz Bay beach, where we played soccer in the sand. To my great displeasure, however, I stepped on something and got cuts on my foot. That didn't stop a good day at the beach though. At one point, Simon carried me and dropped me into the water... Grrr. For dinner, the cousins and I went to Highway Burger 101! On Sunday, we all went to Tanger Outlet and Regatta Park! We got J's Fish n' Chips because it's a must in Lincoln City! Later in the day, we went to Washington Square in or near Beaverton... I'm not exactly sure, but I'm too lazy to Google. I got a milkshake for a $1.15 at Sonics :).

Alex Goot and Friends Tour 7/27/13

Oh my gosh. Can I just say that this was hands down the best decision of my life? I got to meet King the Kid, Landon Austin, Luke Conard, Matt Bacnis, Kurt Schneider, Sam Tsui, and Alex Goot! They're all fabulous musicians and I actually only knew Alex Goot, Kurt Schneider, and Sam Tsui, but all the other guys earned a new fan! Alex Goot also liked a photo of mine on instagram that I tagged him in! AHHH :).

Lakefair Week

Oh my goodness. I was kind of nervous about Lakefair week, but it was one of the best experiences of my life. This is just an update since I haven't blogged in so long. Because of Lakefair, I've gotten so close to the girls, and my sweet friends brought me lovely gifts! I also got so much free food and had a blast. A picture is worth a thousand words so I'll give you my favorite ones (I swear over a thousand photos were taken of me this week...)!

BBQ!

These photos don't even cover everything. It's truly been a blessing although it didn't seem like it for a while. I've learned so much about the community and spent my week at one of my favorite places in Washington... Downtown Olympia! It's crazy how a moderately small town could have so much... well, community! I would like to thank all my friends for their support and give special thanks to Howard, Austin, and Ethan for being there when I needed a friend to talk to.
Thank you for all your support, guys! Love you all!

Half-Marathon!

After months of training, Madi and I finally did it :). We ran a full half-marathon! That's such a paradox. We laughed and talked the entire time. It was great fun and we had such a blast! It was such a wonderful feeling and I'm so glad to have experienced it with one of my best friends! Sadly, but luckily, I got a concussion on the Tuesday after the half-marathon. I've been feeling miserable, but slowly getting better! That's my excuses for these lame blog posts...
