Crystal Ball and Braces Off!

Lina is completely braces free! I got my braces off on Thursday. I have to wear a retainer though and on the first day, my lisp was TERRIBLE. Everyone teased me and made me say words with the letter "s". It was funny though. :) I got first place in my heat at the Crystal Ball on my Cha Cha! They forgot my name on the program AND I didn't get me certificate because of that too :(. They're gonna mail me it... Lame! I had a great day though :). Everyone did so fantastic! Guess what? PHOTO TIME.

9/10/11

So school has started already... I feel like I've been in school forever. I enjoy my classes and teachers though. Vas is going to give me a heart attack though. I don't do well with loud noises and tend to squeal from the loud noises he makes by throwing and hitting stuff... I've been very proud of myself in terms of cross country even though I'm slow compared to others. I've been running the full distances :). I've also been eating healthy! I had my first cross country meet today at Capital Invite! It was so nerve wracking! I had lots of fun though and befriended/became closer friends with the others! I also got a t-shirt there! Then afterwards, I went to Andy's first soccer game with the Blackl Hills Football Club. They won 4-2. Hooray! I also had ballroom with my new ballroom shoes and they're awesssooomeee! There was this extremely creepy guy that I was dancing with though... He seriously looked like one of those child molesters/kidnappers you see on T.V. I don't want to be mean or rude, but he kept pulling me super close to his face and doing really, really uncomfortable stuff... He also completely just ignored the rhythm and just smiled creepily at me... CREEPY. I got saved from him though. Thank goodness. I am currently watching Rio with the siblings that Uncle Hai let us borrow. So Toodles!

How was break overall?

A lot has happened the past few days so I'm going to just hit the main points. Also, I will upload pictures from my vacation when I have time to!

Wednesday: Went to Canada. Our hotel was the Raddison which was really awesome because it was in the center of a lot of things like the Mall, Yaohan, and etc. Went to Aberdeen Mall. I thought I saw Peter Chao? There was this girl playing at a piano shop and she was so good it almost made me cry. Bought bakery items at the Yaohan supermarket. The no texting in Canada thing because they charge sucks.

Thursday: Vancouver Aquarium is huge. Dolphins are amazing. Went to Burnaby Mall which was huge. We spent 45 minutes looking for our car. We weren't the only ones that couldn't find our car. Ate at Yaohan for dinner.

Friday: Ferry to Victoria. Barely made the ferry in time. Went to Miniature World which was super duper awesome. Karina loved pressing all the buttons. Walked around Chinatown and downtown until it was time to go take a ferry to Port Angeles. The ferry rocked back and forth so much that chairs were moving and people were falling. I almost threw up.

Saturday: Ballroom! The Sock Hop was today at Tacoma Art Museum and it was fun! Everyone was dressed up like the 50s and I got to meet a ton of new people! The performance that I did with Noah was fun and people complimented us on it. :) Huge confidence boost man.

Kina Concert and my day!

Today I learned how to Salsa in ballroom! (: It's fun, but I got dizzy. heehee. After ballroom, I went to the costume shop that also sold dance stuff. I bought dance sneakers and Dad bought these tux shoes that were on clearance for $5 :)
In Seattle, Dad and I bought lots of food to bring home. On the way to the concert, a homeless man kept cussing at me for being Asian and spit on me. I almost cried... I'm such a baby :)
ANYWAYS! The Kina concert was awesome! The opening acts, Imaginary Friend and Ry Cumming were good and Kina sounds better live than on her videos! She's TINY! Oh my goodness, when she ran out to go to the bathroom, I didn't even recognize her... She's so much prettier in person. (:
